I have always been passionate about computer science -- I started coding at 9 years old, writing a loop in Basic that printed out "I want ice cream" infinitely. This provided mixed results in my quest for more of the creamy goodness!

I attended Iowa State University, where I received a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Upon graduation, I began my career as a software developer. I now have eight -- and counting! -- years of development experience. I’m best at full-stack, but could be called a Jack of All Trades. I really enjoy working on entire applications, both front and back end.

I’m experienced working in a variety of environments, and particularly enjoy the startup scene. Currently, I’m working with a number of clients in the freelance space, including Gigster! My day-to-day technologies include Node.js, Angular.js, Android, Backbone.js, and Tumblr API. I’m very much interested in further exploring virtual reality projects.
